Info on the theatre
There used to be a piano room where the piano used to come through the roof onto the stage
• The piano isn't used as much anymore
as the content shown in the theatre more & cinema style rather than a live performance
opening & ending and throughout
• Storybook style flick through of old programmes
Interview on the theatre chairs -old managers
•Tour of the theatre- sped up walking around the theatre-stopping interesting places
Interview Dialogue
Fares gives an introduction
- Ask him who he is and what he does, and keep open ended
- Give everyone we interview the same questions
we could host the tour along with Fares
- We could use Lucy as a tour guide
Documentary Techniques
Time appropriate bg music
Title cards with stylised font
Constant colour scheme - red for globe, maybe different shade for strode?
Interviews with cuts to b-roll of audience
Very little editing, not necessary for simple doc about theatre
Guy in radiohead shirt - pretty cool
Many b-roll shots of either audience or just the building itself
Logo for the globe theatre appears frequently - try to find a pre-existing strode theatre logo to use
Cards with interviewees names and roles appear every time a new interviewee appears on screen
The interviewer can not be heard, all that is seen is the interviewee talking
